BOTICA (BOH-TEE-KAH)
Botica by Chef Mimmo distinguishes itself as a sophisticated bodega offering highly specialized cuisine inspired by the flavors of Mexico and Spain.
Chef Mimmo Alboumeh, who grew up in Lebanon, Italy and Spain, began his culinary career in Mexican restaurants more than 20 years ago, bringing with him the cultural influence and cooking of his upbringing. The Botica menu is inspired by street style tacos and Chef Mimmo’s unique brand of hybrid cuisine.
Seasonally fresh and locally sourced, Botica features in-house smoked meats, homemade dressings, salsas, sauces and a made-from-scratch menu. The cocktails are handcrafted and made with premium spirits and fresh ingredients. A next-level brunch is offered Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am to 4 pm, with Mimmo’s signature savory dishes and bottomless Mimosas.
Botica’s fun and lively atmosphere - - associated with Chef Mimmo’s unique brand - - offers 40 high definition flat screen TVs and inside seating for 180, including a private dining room. Accordion doors open from the bar to al fresco dining for 100 on the patio, celebrating Atlanta’s year-round mild weather.
Chef Mimmo is working with Tony Akly of Restaurants Consulting Group (RCG) for the renovation design, who is using pastel colors in the happy, open space to create a next generation Mexican feel.
